Maacher Chop ( Fish Croquet)

Ingredients are as follows:

Canned Tuna(drained)
Boiled potato
Chopped Onion
Haldi powder/Holud
Ginger paste/powder
Garlic paste/powder
Shaan Fried Fish masala(as per taste)
Garam Masala powder
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
Egg
Bread crumbs

Drain the canned tuna and keep it aside.Heat oil in a heavy bottom vessel and fry onions till carmelized. Add Garlic and ginger paste and saute for sometime. Add the tuna and add haldi powder, salt and Shaan masala and cook till all the water from tuna has dried up. Then add the garam masala powder, sugar. Mash the potatoes and add it to the fish mixture and saute for some more time and remove from heat. Make round or any shape balls, dip in the egg wash and then the bread crumbs and deep fry them in hot oil. Serve with any dips or sauce(Maggie Hot & Sweet Chilly sauce). 




They were so good that by the time I got my camera to click a picture, they were almost all gone....
